Masstone
Masstone is a fashion boutique interior design in Taiyuan, China. The boutique covers 520 square meters on two floors and is arranged as an inner garden. A large gentle slope leads to the entrance, and a ramp connects to a top platform. Three short stairs add further paths. Ramps, platforms and ladders support runway shows, fitting, sales and leisure use. Materials include anodized aluminum plates, GRG, terrazzo and a steel structure. An automatically irrigated green wall softens the geometry. The concrete structure is left exposed.
Masstone Boutique by Yan Pan was identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Masstone Boutique was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021.
