Living Aesthetics
Living Aesthetics is a residential apartment interior located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, covering 50 square meters. The design applies an industrial style through iron, aluminium and stainless steel materials. The long foyer walkway holds hanging storage cabinets, and the cabinet doors combine iron mesh with a scattered arrangement of imported tiles. In the public area, a sofa and a coffee table were omitted and a high bar counter was added, serving as both a dining table and a work surface. A partition wall was removed to create an open closet area.
Living Aesthetics Residential Apartment by Yi-Yun Chang has been featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Living Aesthetics Residential Apartment won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
