Leisurable Light Contrast
Leisurable Light Contrast is an apartment interior design covering 130 square meters. The original layout was reorganized to suit the residents, because the closed kitchen and the small master bedroom did not meet their needs. Partitions were removed, and a central island shaped like a dining table was placed behind the foyer, while the kitchen remains on the inner side to limit cooking fumes. The living room ceiling was removed to increase the height, and vertical racks display two bicycles on the main wall. Greyish blue paint contrasts with the wood surfaces.
Leisurable Light Contrast Apartment by Wen Cheng Fu was featured as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Leisurable Light Contrast Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
