Family Time
Family Time is a residential apartment interior of 205 square meters, planned for a three-generation family. The original living room and the dining area are combined into one open public space, unified by gray as the main tone. A permeable hanging frame made of iron, with metal boards of titanium crystal, forms the visual focus and separates the paths between the living room and the study room. The ceiling is marked with black and yellow lines that enlarge the sense of vertical height. A backless gray sofa keeps the view open, so elderly members and children can be seen easily.
Family Time Residential Apartment by Shi Zhe Lo has been recognized as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Family Time Residential Apartment received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
