Spring Earth
Spring Earth is a residential interior design created for a young couple expecting a child. The home is located in Fuzhou, China, and the style is modern with a slight industrial character. A single glass panel separates the living room from the study, enlarging the space and creating a comfortable reading area. Neutral tones are combined with brown and orange in the living and dining areas. In the children's room, white doors and partitions meet a light brown wooden floor, and a tatami with storage is paired with comic wallpaper.
Spring Earth Residence by Baoyi Jiang has been identified as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Spring Earth Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
