Haven of Echoes
Haven of Echoes is a residential interior that turns personal memory into an active part of daily life. Books, heirloom furniture, and collected artifacts are embedded into circulation, storage, and display systems, creating a home where memory and routine coexist. Breathable diatomaceous earth wall finishes regulate humidity and absorb kitchen odors, helping to preserve restored heritage furnishings and book collections while keeping the kitchen, dining, and living zones open and connected. The residence covers about 130 square meters, with custom book walls rising to 3.5 meters.
Haven of Echoes Residential Interior by Kirstin Fu-Ying Wang was identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Haven of Echoes Residential Interior received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
