Prologue in Ink
Prologue in Ink is a residential interior design for a 132.2 square meter apartment on the sixteenth floor of a high-rise building. The palette centers on ink-toned wood veneer with visible natural grain, combined with stone, titanium, glass and leather. The television feature wall layers stone with metal accents, while the study wall pairs dark shelving with light panels. An open study joins the living room, forming a continuous axis that links living, study, dining and kitchen areas. Linear and indirect lighting defines edges and softens the dark tones.
Prologue in Ink Residence by Yan Design has been selected as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Prologue in Ink Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
