Wabi Sabi Beauty
Wabi Sabi Beauty is a residential interior design for a newly built home of 66 square meters in Taipei. The layout was changed from three rooms into a master bedroom, an open study and a walk-in closet, which enlarged the shared living areas. A white backdrop makes the interior feel more spacious. Decorative paint imitates the grain of stone wall panels and adds a natural texture. The open study connects to the living room and includes a large screen television. The kitchen holds an island, appliances and a wine rack.
Wabi Sabi Beauty Residential by Lo Shih-Cheng was highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Wabi Sabi Beauty Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
