Cultural Link
Cultural Link is a collaborative workspace designed for architects and interior designers in Manama, Bahrain. The 888 square metre complex combines traditional Bahraini design principles with contemporary furniture and artworks. Separate buildings define private offices, co-working areas, a coffee shop and a material library. Large windows connect the shared areas, while sound-absorbing materials support quiet work. Local materials such as limestone, clay and palm wood are used, honouring regional craftsmanship and supporting sustainability.
Cultural Link Collaborative Workspace by Maryam Alansari was highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Cultural Link Collaborative Workspace received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
