Eclipse
Eclipse is a residential interior design for a private home of about 115 square meters in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The layout follows a sun and moon concept. Soft warm lighting and flowing curves reduce the visual impact of the structural columns. Engineered wood veneer, faux stone panels, mineral-based coatings and custom metal finishes are combined with hidden doors and fine linear detailing. Public and private zones are arranged for smooth movement. The result is a layered and modern space shaped around family life.
Eclipse Residential Interior by Chen Yu Chiu has been selected as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Eclipse Residential Interior earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
