Metro Casa
Metro Casa is the common area interior design of a residential building. The project applies the Lohas philosophy, which focuses on health, sustainability and community life. A geometric folding plate feature shapes the lobby counter and the surrounding walls, echoing the beveled frames of the building facade. Sustainably sourced wood, decorative grilles and geometric patterns are used throughout. Seating areas, communal zones and greenery encourage social interaction. The scheme covers about 920 square meters and guides movement through the shared spaces.
Metro Casa Common Area by Shao Bros. Development Inc. has been identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Metro Casa Common Area was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
