Diageo Travel Retail
Diageo Travel Retail is a shop-in-shop interior designed for the luxury terminal of Incheon International Airport in Seoul. The store covers 40.12 square meters and has walls 2.7 meters tall. Sculptural walls made of thermoformed Corian curve gently through the space, following the idea of liquid shaping stone. Perforated metal, bespoke display units and custom furniture complete the interior. The curved layout guides visitors along a route that presents several whiskey brands within one calm and unified environment.
Diageo Travel Retail Interior Design by L'Atelier Five has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Diageo Travel Retail Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
