Sun Yi Office
Sun Yi Office is an insurance reception center placed on the first floor of a five-story independent house. The design is informed by the maritime history of the site and the origins of insurance. Gentle curves and wave-like features in the ceiling and floor create a calm atmosphere, while neutral tones of sand and driftwood dominate the palette. Modular curved desks form a shared work surface that supports collaboration and clear movement paths. Glass bricks at the entrance filter daylight, so brightness is increased while low transparency preserves privacy.
Sun Yi Office Insurance Reception Center by Chen Hsuan Wei has been recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sun Yi Office Insurance Reception Center was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025.
