Eclipse
Eclipse is the interior design of a two-story house of 95.8 square meters in Taiwan. The home holds a living room, a dining room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The concept is drawn from a total solar eclipse. Dark wood veneer is the main material, and linear lighting forms a soft halo effect. The staircase beside the entrance shifts from dark veneer to warm wood grain, glass and white paint, ending at a window. A television wall rotates 360 degrees, and the kitchen island extends into a dining table, linking the kitchen, dining room and living room.
Eclipse Residence by AN.J studio was featured as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Eclipse Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
