Counterpoint Poetry
Counterpoint Poetry is a residential interior design located in the countryside of Changhua City, Taiwan. The home covers a construction area of 121 square meters, set within a building whose 1980s beams and columns form square walls. The layout follows the nine-square grid of the Mandala Chart, with the core space placed at the center. Storage walls form a winding path that conceals clutter. Earthy browns represent the fruitfulness of the soil, and an emerald green wall marks the main living area. A quiet computer room with a futon supports daily use.
Counterpoint Poetry Three Section Compound by Hsin Ting Weng was highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Counterpoint Poetry Three Section Compound earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
