Living in Motion
Living in Motion is an apartment interior design covering 95 square meters in Taipei, Taiwan. The home includes a dining area, a living room, one bedroom and one bathroom. Fixed partitions are replaced by 360 degree rotating lattice doors and concealed sliding panels, so each area can be opened for connection or closed for privacy. A marble-clad television wall is paired with titanium-coated panels, black ironwork, dark veneers and cement textures. Low-carbon materials, modular elements and a smart lighting system support flexible daily use.
Living in Motion Apartment by YingYing Chen has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Living in Motion Apartment received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
