Quite Dew
Quite Dew is a residential interior design for a 99.1-square-meter apartment in Taiwan. The partition between the kitchen and the social area was replaced with a sliding glass door, so daylight reaches the whole home while cooking fumes are contained. Arched ceilings and curved walls soften the transitions between rooms and reduce the risk of injury for children. Light wood tones, artistic paints and stone textures form the material palette. A separate gaming room with soundproofing and colored light strips serves the adults.
Quite Dew Residence by YL Interior Design was featured as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Quite Dew Residence received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
