Quenched Silence
Quenched Silence is a residential interior design for a 49.5 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The original two-bedroom layout was changed into one bedroom, a living room and a dining room for a single occupant. A calm palette of black, gray, white and earthy tones supports reading and work. A curved ceiling softens the large beams, while black mirrors and lighting make the space appear larger. A bookcase behind the sofa adds storage, and a central island serves as a dining table and a work area for gatherings.
Quenched Silence Residence by SAN.O INTERIOR DESIGN has been highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Quenched Silence Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
