Light and Less
Light and Less is an office interior located in a shophouse in Taiwan. The layout is defined by three large curves instead of vertical partitions, so the plan stays open and circulation remains natural. The area of 254.5 square meters includes a foyer, meeting room, office area, meditation area and a multipurpose space for lectures and events. A planted patio in the center brings daylight to the darker corners and supports plant growth. The walls are finished in six gradations of color, and the floors are covered with stone plastic composite with a warm wood grain.
Light and Less Office by Jun-Rung Wu was highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Light and Less Office received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
