Shanghai Bohua Tower 55F
Shanghai Bohua Tower 55F is an office interior designed for an investment firm with a hybrid work arrangement. The office gives the staff a home base in Shanghai and offers suitable meeting space for investors and guests. The plan is divided by the lobby into a workstation side and a meeting side. Four long tables that recall library reading tables, together with personal lockers, dominate the work area. Private desks are placed behind wood partitions. The minimal material palette is limited to concrete, travertine and pale oak, and the panels, partitions and cabinetry share one module.
Shanghai Bohua Tower 55F Office by Bill Yen was identified as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shanghai Bohua Tower 55F Office received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
