Himalaya Designer Office
Himalaya Designer Office is an office interior in Xiamen, China, covering 950 square meters. The design uses a three-way joint motif that extends from the spatial framework to the furniture, lighting and signage. Dark grays and blacks are combined with orange elements. Vertical metal rods support the front desk, which stands as a sculptural focal point at the entrance. Frosted galvanized sheets line the material room, while perforated galvanized steel wave plates separate the public corridor from the open office area. Sloping walls widen the sense of spatial depth.
Himalaya Designer Office Workplace by Roy Hu has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Himalaya Designer Office Workplace received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
