Anywhere Door
Anywhere Door is a residential interior design for a new apartment of 71 square meters with three rooms, a living room, a dining room and two bathrooms. The scheme uses a grayscale palette of black, white and gray, softened by curves. Arches mark the transition between areas and divide the plan according to daily activities. Materials include plaster, artistic paint, gray mirrors, tile, wood veneer, pegboards and terrazzo. Black tile and black wood veneer serve as visual accents. The open social area is planned for comfort and daylight.
Anywhere Door Residence by Hayami Design has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Anywhere Door Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
