Villa Time
Villa Time is a residential interior design for a two-story house in Miaoli, Taiwan. Each floor covers 165 square meters, and the outdoor courtyard and garage cover 230 square meters. The entryway is finished with black wood texture on the facade and ceiling, set off by a stone skin coating that is applied and carved layer by layer. Warm linear light and an orange cabinet add contrast. The living room, dining room and kitchen remain open to one another to support gatherings of a family of three generations.
Villa Time Residence by TZU CHENG HUANG was featured as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Villa Time Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
