Lush Purline
Lush Purline is the interior design of a five story townhouse in Taichung, Taiwan, home to a family of four generations. The construction area is 178 square meters. The layout is divided into shared and private areas by sliding doors that can be opened or closed for different situations. Curves, voids and solids form a rhythmical surface, and arcs replace right angles for the comfort of both older and younger family members. Materials from different generations are combined to reflect personal character and daily needs.
Lush Purline House Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng was recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Lush Purline House Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
