Geneo
Geneo is a showroom designed for a skin care brand that combines technology with natural ingredients. The 280 square meter space uses water, plants and oxygen as its main themes. The entrance area holds a flowing water light feature, a bubble wall, a portrait wall and a 5D cinema. The bubble wall can be rotated, and light then reveals different plants within. In the video area, ceiling lighting and a fragrance system change with the film content. Pseudo cement and terrazzo give a natural and primitive look, while all wall corners were rounded and polished by hand.
Geneo Showroom Design by Belina Zhang has been recognized as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Geneo Showroom Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
