Unite
Unite is the interior design of a five-story house for an extended family in Taiwan. Each floor has its own theme, and a consistent light color scheme connects all areas. The first floor holds the garage and shared spaces, where a glass sliding door divides the living room, dining room and kitchen while it admits light and protects privacy. Grilles, chamfered corners and curved metal panels balance straight lines and soft curves. The project is a renovation, and many original materials were kept and reused.
Unite Residence by USPACE Interior Design was identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Unite Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
