Yu Garden
Yu Garden is a private villa interior design located in the central business district of Suzhou, close to Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake. The internal structure of the 1500 square meter residence was replanned to make the rooms more square and regular. A landscape staircase replaces the original corner stairs, adding both display value and practicality. An automatic sensing glass roof improves daylight and ventilation. An elevator, a sunken courtyard and a basement light well were added. Stone, glass and wood finishes support a calm and comfortable atmosphere.
Yu Garden Private Villa by Qiang Hu has been selected as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yu Garden Private Villa was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
