Past Precious Times
Past Precious Times is an interior design for a private home of 740 square meters. The layout keeps the basic structure of a traditional residence and shortens the distance between people and the indoor setting. Functional areas are joined without clear borders, so the space for shared activity is extended. Large floor-to-ceiling windows on the sunlit facade bring in natural light. Light wood and stone surfaces, carpets, sofas and soft chairs in calm colors reduce visual weight. Suspended lamps and a chandelier define the activity area.
Past Precious Times Private Homes by Changching Chien was featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Past Precious Times Private Homes earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
