Tranquility
Tranquility is a residential interior design for a 109 square meter home in Taiwan. The layout is open plan, and a kitchen island forms the core of the space, serving as a dining, work and sitting area. A projection screen is installed in the ceiling for shared film viewing. The interior height of 3.6 meters allows a mezzanine, which adds a bedroom, a study and storage. The two children's rooms follow the same two level plan, with a bed below and a multi-functional area above. Materials include solid wood veneer, metal, marble and gravel.
Tranquility Residential by Ye-Siang Huang has been recognized as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Tranquility Residential earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
