Rest of Life
Rest of Life is a residential interior design for an apartment of 66.1 square meters on the fifteenth floor. The home includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a tatami room. Terrazzo, smoked oak, rattan mesh and begonia glass create a retro atmosphere inspired by traditional Taiwanese houses. A begonia glass sliding door divides the entrance and reduces the visual weight of a large beam. A rounded ceiling and chamfered edges repeat the curved forms. Each cabinet is treated as a separate movable piece.
Rest of Life Residential by Wanderlust Design has been selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Rest of Life Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
