C Major
C Major is a residential interior design for a 154 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The layout includes a balcony, a living room, a dining room and three bedrooms plus a study. Stainless steel covers the large beams to reduce their bulk, and linear lighting softens the columns. Sliding doors between the study and the living room, and between the two secondary bedrooms, allow flexible and private use. Tawny glass, mirrors and wood grain surfaces are combined with champagne gold and Morandi grey tones. The micro-circular ceilings of the public area recall Baroque vaults.
C Major Residential by HSU-HSIN CHENG has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. C Major Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023.
