Sparkling Bali
Sparkling Bali is a residential apartment interior set on the top three floors of an older building in Taiwan. The design follows a party theme, with indoor and outdoor gathering areas on the first and top floors. A glass staircase and patio bring natural light through all three levels. The stair facade and transparent steps hold storage and a wine collection, which saves space for social use. Water-corrugated stainless steel surrounds the sofa area, and a mirrored ceiling extends the low visual height. Mirrors also ease the narrow entry corridor.
Sparkling Bali Residential Apartment by Fang Ming Lo has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Sparkling Bali Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
