Originality
From O to X is an office interior designed for a fashion brand in Taipei City, Taiwan. The 602 square meter space uses an open plan layout without traditional partitions, so natural light and ventilation reach every corner. Neon lights, metallic materials and selected furniture express the brand identity of urban style, street fashion and contemporary simplicity. Exposed pipes on the ceiling create an industrial character in shades of black and white. The layout is divided into a display area, a photo studio, a meeting room, a rest area and a flagship exhibition.
Originality Office by Chi-Wei Pai has been selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Originality Office was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
