Streamlined Arc
Streamlined Arc is a residential interior design for a newly built single-story home of 99 square meters in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The original layout was fragmented and closed, so the wall lines were adjusted and two rooms were combined to form an L-shaped circulation path that links the master bedroom areas. Arc shapes appear in the ceiling, the desks, the dressing room glass doors and the full-length mirrors to soften the space. The entryway uses pattern tiles, while the public area has herringbone wood floors and walls painted with architectural concrete.
Streamlined Arc Interior Design by No.37 Studio has been highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Streamlined Arc Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
