The Moo
The Moo is the interior design of a three-story cabinet showroom and office in Taiwan. The reception is on the first floor, the office on the second floor and a rest area on the third floor. Wall colors link the floors and reduce the visual depth of the space. Each level has its own mood, from lively to stable and then calm, creating a sense of hierarchy in the stacked layout. Particle board, mineral water-based paint and stone plastic composite flooring keep formaldehyde and emissions low. The minimal approach removes excess detail and keeps practical elements.
The Moo Office by CHEN SHENG-YUAN has been identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. The Moo Office was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
