Urban Taste
Urban Taste is an apartment interior located in a central neighborhood of Nanchang City, China. The residence covers 63 square meters and was planned as a private and modern home for a single occupant. A concise and open layout keeps circulation clear within the limited area. A table and a glass partition link the living room and the bedroom, creating a transparent space with both open and enclosed views. Materials include laminate flooring, glass brick, latex paint, natural marble, stone and metal. The interior was completed in December 2020.
Urban Taste Residence by Lei Fu was featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Urban Taste Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
