The Crystal Hall
Crystal Hall, located at Bangalore, India was designed as a private residence that incorporates the concepts of vernacular architecture with modern materials and technology. Surrounded by orchards, it seeks to establish the connection between man and nature. With white walls and glassy interiors, the focus was keeping the space uncluttered and minimalistic. All materials used were upcycled from the excess during construction, ensuring near-zero wastage. Designed to be environmentally conscious, it provides thermal, visual, and aural insulation, while being faithful to its aesthetic philosophy.
The Crystal Hall Residential Interior by THOMAS ABRAHAM has been identified as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Crystal Hall Residential Interior won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
