Yi Family Friendly
Yi Family Friendly is a residential interior design for a five story home shared by three generations. Each generation has a private floor, with a luxurious style for the parents, a calm style for the grandparents, and a colorful, playful setting for the children. Shared areas, such as the sitting and dining area and the upper play room, bring the family together. Marble, wood, metal and mirrored surfaces are combined throughout the interior. Color layers and material changes guide movement between the spaces and link Eastern and Western elements.
Yi Family Friendly House by Wen Lung Chen has been featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Yi Family Friendly House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
