Zhongtian Starry Residence
Zhongtian Starry Residence is a 190 square meter residential showroom completed in 2021 in Changsha, China. The interior is inspired by the mortise and tenon joints of ancient timber structures and follows a simple, quiet and neat style. Light colored wooden furniture and clean lines create a natural balance within the living space. In the hallway, art ornaments are placed in the open sections of the porch cabinet, which enriches the layout and adds a display function. Reserved white space and cinnabar red accents give the rooms an oriental character.
Zhongtian Starry Residence Showroom by Sheng Menghua has been featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Zhongtian Starry Residence Showroom received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
