Stoked KL
Stoked KL is a workplace interior designed as an open studio rather than a conventional office. The 1300 square foot space measures 15400 mm in width, 8000 mm in depth and 3900 mm in height. A cafe like pantry with a movable bar table meets visitors at the entrance. A meeting room, a lounge area with an art mural and an open material library complete the layout. Acoustic panels reduce noise and reverberation under the high ceiling and also form a feature wall. Natural light and tropical references set the mood, and the studio can serve as an event space in the evening.
Stoked KL Workplace by Stoked Associates, Okamura International was identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Stoked KL Workplace was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
