Neutral Line
Neutral Line is a residential interior design completed in Zhubei City, Taiwan. White is used as the main color, so light and shadow reveal the depth of the space. Spanish ceramic flooring, wooden veneer and metal hardware covered with Moru glass balance warm and cool tones. A linear design language divides the living areas, and a central aquarium framed in metal also works as a space divider. The layout was replanned to provide three bedrooms and a dining area for gatherings. Smart technology allows remote control of curtains, lamps and home appliances.
Neutral Line Residence by Wei-Wen Liao has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Neutral Line Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
