Chuan Villa
Chuan Villa is a residential interior design located on the Dapeng Peninsula, on the east coast of Shenzhen, away from city noise. The project covers 720 square meters. The design follows a Zen idea of simplicity and removes artificial decoration. The ceiling is made of special environmental materials that echo the reflective floor and extend natural light into every corner of the living room and along the tea room corridor. The master bedroom combines a palm wood floor with beige and hemp walls. Movable wooden grids add a delicate mood.
Chuan Villa Residential House by Dickson Xie has been featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Chuan Villa Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
