Deep Attachment
Deep Attachment is a residential interior design located in a former factory dormitory in Tangshan, Hebei province. The original space was a standard workshop with industrial elements, dividing corridors and limited daylight. The design replaces the repetitive layout and opens the plan across two levels connected by stairs. The theme follows the owner's affection for pigeons, and the colors recall pigeon wings. Paintings made by artists are placed through the home. The bedroom connects to several leisure areas. The project covers 1000 square meters.
Deep Attachment Residential House by Jun Zheng was selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Deep Attachment Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
