Another Me
Another Me is a residential interior design for a home in Chongqing, China. The layout is arranged as one bedroom and one large living area, so the interior stays open and spacious. The scheme was developed after a survey of the owners' living needs and preferred styles, followed by several discussions that shaped the final plan before construction. The open space lets the owners display their favorite items throughout the home. The intent is to make the house a means of personal expression, rather than only a place to live.
Another Me Residential by Simeng Yao has been highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Another Me Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
