Dongqian Lake
Dongqian Lake is a sales office interior located on the shore of a lake in Ningbo. White and black form the main colors, while blue elements in the art and furniture echo the water outside. The walls are made of metal plates with folding lines, and gray blocks divide the different functional areas. The negotiation table and chairs are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic in conventional sizes, which reduces material consumption. Large windows admit natural light and lower the need for artificial lighting.
Dongqian Lake Sales Office by Yaonian Li was selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Dongqian Lake Sales Office received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
