Reverse Time
Reverse Time is a residential interior design based on an industrial style. Iron elements are combined with modern furnishings to soften the rigid character of the industrial look. A wooden table is suspended by iron supports, and leather furniture links the metal parts with the wooden floor. The concrete ceiling meets a gray-scale natural white oak floor and light brown laminated wood walls. Pipelines are hidden within the space to keep the layout calm and practical. Rust-like paint gives the iron parts a natural aged surface.
Reverse Time Residence by JEFF HSU, HOWARD LIU has been featured as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Reverse Time Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
