Warming Fun
Warming Fun is a residential interior design created for a house more than twenty years old in Taipei, Taiwan. The renovation removes a traditional Japanese style room and turns the original four rooms into three, enlarging the public areas and the children's room. The living room and the dining room are joined into one space. A large custom solid wood table stands at the center and supports dining, games, reading and work. Wood, stone and fabric soften the cool tone of the interior. The plan is intended to bring the family closer.
Warming Fun Residential Space by Chen Chin-Shu was highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Warming Fun Residential Space received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
