Graceful Home
Graceful Home is a residential apartment interior of 132.2 square meters located in Taipei City, Taiwan. The original layout had one living room, one dining room, one kitchen and two bedrooms, with inadequate sunlight and poor air quality in the kitchen. The public area was rearranged to improve circulation, interaction, daylight and air quality. The bright white space is completed by neat recessed ceiling lights, delicate black geometric details, safe rounded furniture and a playroom for children. Wood textures and soft colors create a warm and calm atmosphere.
Graceful Home Residential Apartment by Ping-Hsin Chen has been recognized as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Graceful Home Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
