Urban Oasis
Urban Oasis is a residential interior design for a three-bedroom apartment in Taichung City, Taiwan. The 290 square metre home was completed in 2019 and is arranged around a private collection of contemporary art. Classical proportions divide the plan, while the vestibule, two living rooms, dining room and island kitchen flow together in an open layout. Warm autumn tones, grey marble and suede furnishings frame the artworks. The design gives the large apartment a calm and comfortable character without closing off the shared spaces.
Urban Oasis Luxury Residential by Idan Chiang of L'atelier Fantasia was selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Urban Oasis Luxury Residential earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
