Yango Tanyuan
Yango Tanyuan is a residential showroom interior located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China. The design creates a warm living environment with artistic decorations. Marble with natural texture is a main material, combined with solid wood, wooden veneer, wallpaper, metal and glass. The dining room connects to a sunken courtyard, so the space feels more open. Neutral sofas and coffee tables with linen upholstery give a calm and intimate feeling. Gold details on white marble side tables and ceiling lines add a quiet accent.
Yango Tanyuan Showroom by Weidong Cao has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yango Tanyuan Showroom won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
